Electrical wiring is everywhere, tucked behind the walls of your home and within your HD television, DVD player, laptop computer, printer, smartphone, security systems and other equipment. It only takes one electrical accident to deliver a lethal jolt to a human body, or burn a home to the ground. Copper Development Association (CDA) offers 5 tips to keep you and your property safe. 1. Reduce excessive attic temperatures: When you’re up in an attic on a sunny summer day, you know the meaning of hot. If the wires are buried in attic insulation, pass over light fixtures or, worst of all, are arranged in tight bundles, they become even hotter than if they’re out in the open. The heat doesn’t affect the copper conductors in the wiring; it’s the plastic insulation and jacketing that surrounds the wires that are the problem. These are usually rated to withstand up to 194 degrees. The cumulative effect of ambient heat and current on attic wiring can result in temperatures that come

Energy is an inevitable requirement where we want development to take place. All these power generation techniques can be described as renewable since they are not depleting any resources to create the energy. Renewable sources of energy are the ones which can be generated continuously in nature and are inexhaustible. These are the top 10 energy sources: 1. Biomass- Biomass or bio-energy, the energy from organic matter for thousands of years, ever since people started burning wood to cook food. Wood is still our largest biomass energy resource even today. Other sources of biomass can be used including plants, residues from agriculture or forestry and the organic components. Plants and animal matters are used for production of fibers chemicals or heat. The net emission of carbon dioxide will be zero as long as plants continue to be replenished for biomass energy purposes. Burning of plant or animal matter

Many Solar installation companies promise many things about how much output or savings you’ll get with different solar technologies. To help you get a clear picture, we’re going to go into a little more depth about the factors that influence solar energy production. Understanding these factors will help you to make accurate predictions for cost-savings and smart decisions on choosing a product. With that in mind, here are several factors and how they influence solar energy production. High quality Tier 1 solar panels will maintain their rated efficiency. The higher the irradiance on a solar cell, the more energy a cell will produce. Temperature, shading, weather, and soiling affect energy a system can produce! The Run Down: It’s a fact that the weather changes every day, and the earth’s position towards the sun changes throughout the year. That means that a solar panel at a fixed location may produce 50 W at noon in June and 100 W at noon in

The two big technologies in silicon-based solar are still MONO and POLY solar panels. Here at Solar Leading we stock both. But what is the difference? and how do you know which one is best for you and your solar project? Mono Crystalline Panels The difference between mono and poly solar panels comes down to the cells that they are made from. The silicon in mono and poly cells undergo different manufacturing processes, making panels with slightly different performance characteristics. Understanding these differences will help you to choose the right panel for your project. Mono crystalline panels (mono-si, mono) are made from silicon that has been ‘grown’ in a single crystal through the ‘ Czochralski process ’. The crystal is then trimmed, sliced into wafers and treated to form solar cells. Because of the shape of the crystal, mono cells tend to have distinctive ‘cut off corners’. Mono cells are easy to identify by these cut off corners and a smooth even bla
